What is the LIGHT, what is the COLOR, and what is the SPECTRUM? |
| Light and Darkness | Afra Mazda, the god of light, and Ahriman, the god of darkness. Lucifer, the angel of light, and Satan, the angel of darkness. The darkness appears from the light, while the light ray illuminates the darkness. From ancient times, the light and darkness coexist in the physical world as well as in the spritual world of the human. |

| Spectrum | The spectrum is the dispersed light along its wavelength, by, e.g., prism or grating. |
| Astral Print | The spectrum is the finger print of the celestial object; astral print. The pattern of the spectum depends on emission processes, physical state of objects, transmitting space, atmospheric situations, and so on. Hence, by investigating the spectrum in detail, we can resolve the chemical abundance, the physical state such as temperature and density, the dynamical state such as convection, turbulence, and rotation, the bulk motion such as cosmic expansion, the material and state of the interstellar and intergalactic space, and so on. The spectrum is just the important clue of the celestial objects. |

| It has been known three primary colors for light and color, respectively. These primary colors are not the own nature inherent in light or color, but relates to the human recognition of color. Fortunately, human eye can recognize and distinct various colors. However, color nature expresses only some aspect of light. We can know futher details of light, using spectroscopy, where the light spectrum is quantitatively and extensively examined. | ||
